Combat Report, Monday April 18th 2005
Location : Zek, Deathfist Citadel
Unit : JoKeRs WilD Raidforce
Raidforce : Gninja, Grenman, Kierra, Inglorion, Flobdeth, Debillus and Quanth
Report : The raidforce entered the DFC by infiltrating the sewer system, using a rope we, undetected, climbed up into the outer courtyard of DFC.
We knew from the intelligence briefing that we would have to neutralize a few enemy Orc groups aswell as some Orc commanders, to gain access to the towers. We took out 4 commanders and 3 or 4 Orc groups without any trouble, and we unlocked the tower doors.
We decided to go into one of the towers and take a break, to get our strength back up. While taking the break we got jumped by at least 3 orc groups, we didn`t have any trouble killing them, but as soon as they dropped a new wave of blood thirsty Orcs came at us.
We assessed the situation and decided to push on the the top of the tower, and try to reach Emperor Fyst, which we did. We engaged him, killed of his guards and he ran like a little schoolgirl.
We followed the fleeing basterd down to the basement of the castle, where he unfortunately got away. Our leet rat and super scout, Mr Tinygiant, used his very sensitive nose and tracked him, we had to fight our way through endless waves of Ors guards but finally we reached the Harem room.
As you can see our celebration of this got a bit out of hand, especially when Grenman peed in the water and flob started grabbing the harem girl`s butts
Pushing on through more waves of Orc guards, we finally reached the arena. Nobody wanted to be the first to enter, untill Deb told us that the best place in the game to hunt shineys was in there. The only one stooopid enough to believe him, was a gnome disguised as a Vampire.
Inside the arena Gninja started talking to Emperor Fyst, who told him that we were ignorant bastards and he would set his best arena fighters on us.
The first one we encountered was Dagolka and his 2 warlions, he wasn`t really that much of a challenge and we beat him up in no time.
The next ermm thing to enter the arena was The Harrower, a step up on the "hard to kill" ladder. The fight was good, long and hard, the Harrower put up a decent fight but he had to yield in the end.
Killing the Harrower made Emperor Fyst, who had been watching the whole thing safely from his balcony, go nuts and he started rambeling on about JoKeRs WilD being a n00b guild, and other obscene stuff i wont get into here.
He finally stated that Kierra was an ugly wench, of course we couldent have that so we invited him to join us for a party in the arena.
Let me say this up front, Emperor Fyst is NOT a pushover. The fight lastet allmost 15 minutes and we nearly lost Gninja at several occations. But the raidforce held together and we prevailed in the end.
We stuck his head on a pole and marched on out of the castle, not looking back, heading for Trainer Grozmag and our Sweet reward.
Summary : Good Experience - OK loot - Pathing of mobs Very bad - Scripted events were decent.
