Into Permafrost. The second JoKeRs Expedition.

A small group of adventurers, namely Cirkeline (39 Templar), Flobdeth (42 Inquisitor), Quanth (42 Guardian) and yours truly (43 Mystic) set out to get Cirk flagged for Everfrost. Both the access quest and the boatride was easily accomplished, a bit to our surprise actualy, so we found ourselves in Everfrost with some time to spare.

Naturaly the scene was set for some exploration, so off we went, in the footsteps of the first JoKeRs expedition into Everfrost; Destination Permafrost.

Once we arrived at the gates of Permafrost, unscathed and in awe of the beautyfull scenery surrounding us, a few Kromrif giants had to be persuaded to step aside to allow us entrance. They fell as fast as they were tall and through the gates we went. (Low 6 MB| High 12 MB )

Two of this expeditions members had been here before, so for the first few paces into Permafrost we knew what we could expect, but once we arrived at the frozen bridge, we were threading new ground. (Low 12 MB | High 22 MB )

Fighting our way over the bridge and into the castle of ice wasn't easy. Repops were fast and unforgiving so we found ourselves with too big a chunk of Kromriff lovin' for our little party to handle. The Barbarians fell where they stood, while the more agile ran like little schoolgirls, only to return and save the day for yet another attempt. This time we had learned, and the giants were defeated, allowing us to enter, and get the first glimpses of the courtyard. (Low 2 MB | High 6 MB )

What came next, I think none of us had expected. A set of big doors were left unlocked for us to open, and so we did. Through the doors into a stunningly beautyfull hallway leading us to a big dome. (Low 8 MB | High 17 MB )

This would be the final destination for this expedition, but we didn't leave until our group had removed several Ice golems, many of which were considerably stronger than us. Not many of us would have given our little group any chance of defeating these, but behold, not even the level 48^^ golems lived to tell about their meeting with the JoKeRs. (Low 23 MB| High 52 MB )

Needless to say, we all swore - before gating back to our hometowns - to return and remove the menace, and get further into permafrost on our next expedition.
