Btw...

Just disable sending e-mail using the smtp server.
It will work then.

everytime I post anything anywhere it gives me this error:

Could not connect to smtp host : 10060 : A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

DEBUG MODE

Line : 113
File : smtp.php

although it does actually go through it tells me that error everytime just an FYI

That's the email smtp server that goes wrong.
In the admin config panel just disable it and put the admin mail where my mail is now.

That will solve the issue :)

Vibes, what exactly happened to http://www.jokersonline.net ? ... IE gives me a "Page cannot be found" error, while Firefox gives me a "www.jokersonline.net could not be found" ..

If you are redirecting through DNS, please make sure that you set the A-record to point to "http://jokers.mistmoore.net" not to the IP-address.

Also, how did you interface to gmail beforehand for the notifications and registration mails? I will eventualy get my exchange server up and running again, but that could take some time.

for some reason http://www.jokersonline.net doesn't work but jokersonline.net does (so no www)

Will have a word with the domain provider.

And before I never used smtp ... I just used the standard service. It does delay all the e-mail by a day or so (atleast that's what it looks like)

not sure what's going on with cookies on the site but it doesn't stay logged in when i close a window after logging in. when i relog in it directs me to this page :

http://jokers.mistmoore.net/forum/portal.php

which comes up to page not found... if i put http://www.jokersonline.net in after i get that error it takes me to the page logged in so there is a work around. still kinda annoying though.

Yeah, I'm afraid I've been playing a little too much around with copies of this site for my (and your) comfort. The simple answer to your question is delete the cookies from all sites *.beetlejuice.dk.
