To everybody I'm hosting FTP folders for ...

If you are currently using a ftp service of either of the below listed domains, or have previously used one and would like to keep your files and your access, please read the following :

for the domains :

• beetlejuice.dk
• eq2.dk
• eq2epics.com
• mistmoore.net
• raidsignup.net
• guildevents.net

All hosted files and users will be purged with a major incoming overhaul of the webserver. Yes! I'll be using this opportunity to get rid of a few gigabytes of very lazy data, just sitting there on my webserver for apparently no good reason.. that is of course, assuming that you don't ever use the data you once uploaded.

Here is what you need to do if you want to retain your files and the access to them :

Send me (Debillus) a PM on these boards providing the following :

• Your current e-mail address
• Your desired password
• Which of the data from your old location you would like copied over to the new location.
• Information on what you intend to use the space i give you for, and for how long you plan on using it. (I don't mind hosting stuff forever if there's a good reason for it, so don't be afraid to ask for it)

Once processed and when the server changes take effect, you will receive a PM and/or e-mail with authentication information for your new account.

Also, be advised that all future user hosted files will be prefixed from http://user.mistmoore.net/<name>. It will be your own job to fix / correct any external references to either of the old domains (user.mistmoore.net excepted)

I think only thing I am still hosting on your FTP are the movies we have in the downloads section and maybe my avatar for forums. I assume those are already backed up?

We have a quite big folder under

Which I will be moving over, unscathed. Purging this folder would render pretty much all library posts and most of the jokers site broken as we pull from resources there quite heavily.

What I will be doing is a full text search on both data and code for http://hosted.beetlejuice.dk/jokers/eq2/ and replace it with http://user.mistmoore.net/jokers/. This approach worked well back when we moved from jokersonline.net to jokers.beetlejuice.dk and then to jokers.mistmoore.net.

As for you avatar (sad and laughing masks) and what else you are using, I do think these are also stored within the jokers folder, but rightfully should be moved over to your own folder.
